Watersports double-header in Dubai this weekend
DIMC to host rowing championship and dhow sailing championship at Mina Seyahi
Dubai: The Dubai International Marine Club (DIMC) will be organising a sailing double-header over the weekend off the Mina Seyahi waters.
The first race will be the third and final round of the 30-ft Dubai Rowing Championship on Friday, while the second will be the Dubai Traditional 43-ft Dhow Sailing Championship on Saturday.
Registration for participation is open via DIMC or Abu Dhabi Sailing and Yacht Club. Technical inspections and the explanation of race routes will be completed on Friday morning during the mandatory session for contestants.
The 30-ft Dubai Rowing Championship will start at 3pm on Friday, with participants required to complete all preparations before 2pm, while the Dubai Traditional 43-feet Dhow Sailing Championship will be flagged off at 2pm on Saturday.
