DUBAI: Sprite batsman Retheesh Kumar Vaniyan claimed the first weekly prize of gold worth Dh5,000 as part of the Sprite Cricket Star’s “Collect Runs and Win” promotion.
Vaniyan scored 96,204 runs this week by purchasing Sprite and sending the code under the tab or cap to SMS 3775.
Siddique Theni, who collected 12,204 runs finished second this week to win gold worth Dh1,250.
The “Collect Runs and Win” promotion coincides with the return of the Sprite Cricket Stars tournament for a fifth year, where once again Sprite is offering the UAE an opportunity to win a host of high-value prizes. Instant prizes in the form of mobile phones, gold coins, and cricket kits can also be won. The competition starts from zero every week and runs can be collected with the purchase of Sprite. The most runs collected over the whole promotion will earn the winner gold world Dh100,000 in October.
