Abu Dhabi: Bespoke trophies and medals have been unveiled ahead of the first Adnoc Abu Dhabi Marathon on December 7.
The trophy takes inspiration from the silhouette of a runner and comes in the marathon’s official colours of yellow and blue.
Trophies will be awarded to the male and female winners and runners-up of elite and wheelchair categories. All those who complete the 2.5km, 5km, 10km or 42km events on December 7 will get a medal. Cash prizes are also on offer for male and female winners of the 42km, each receiving $100,000 (Dh367,243), while second and third will get $25,000 and $15,000, respectively.
