Dubai: Top Gear presenters Chris Evans and Matt Le Blanc turned up at a Gaelic football match in County Kerry, Ireland, on Saturday, causing a stir and adding some motoring-glitz to the rural area.
The new presenters arrived at the specially organised game between Dingle GAA Club and An Ghaeltacht, which was to be the centre of a film shoot, and which was clearly well-received by the locals.
Evans and Le Blanc arrived at Dingle’s ground in a pair of Rolls Royce’s which were driven onto the field after the game. Le Blanc was in a brand new Rolls Royce Dawn, which is worth Dh1.4m, while Evans turned up in a navy 1976 Rolls Royce Corniche, which is priceless.
As you would expect, Dingle residents went into overdrive on social media.
The new Top Gear will be broadcast in May.
