An international standard swimming pool has been set up by the Port and Customs Free zone Corporation (PCFC) for the Jebel Ali Free Zone employees.
This was inaugurated by Mahmoud Saleh, Secretary- General TCO and Executive Director of the Shared Services at the DPA camp in Jebel Ali.
Also present were Jamal Lootah, Chairman, Ahmad Belal Salem, Manager, Ahmad Al Qasim, Member, Omar Sharif Hassan, member of the PCFC Social & Sports Club, and Abdul Rahman Al Qetami, Senior Supervisor-EWA.
PCFC Social and Sports Club also felicitated their victorious volleyball, tennis and basketball teams that brought glory to the club at a special function held at the PCFC Recreation Club.
The volleyball, tennis and basketball teams won the Dubai Shopping Festival Corporate Tournament-2005, organised by GIP and held at DSF Sports Complex at Murraqabat-Deira.
PCFC also won the overall DSF Corporate Championship in this tournament. A total of more then 60 corporate teams participated in the DSF Tournament. All the players were felicitated with cash prizes and certificates.
"We appreciate the work done by the Sports Committee. The results prove the efforts they have put in," remarked Mahmoud Saleh during the felicitation function.
"We are very happy that our teams have won laurels for our club. We look forward for more excellence and we promise all possible help to all," he added.
Shaik Rafik, the sports assistant, proposed the vote of thanks.
