Bin Hendi confident of maintaining winning streak

Uddevalla : Kolbjorn Selmer and Jorn Tandberg of Norway could not capitalise on their pole position on Welmax in the Swedish Grand Prix when they crashed out of the race yesterday.
Two crashes had put off the race more than an hour behind schedule.
Earlier, Welmax set the fastest time of the weekend so far with a best lap time of 2m:22.09s more than two seconds ahead of reigning world champions Nader Bin Hendi and Arif Al Zafeen in Fazza (2m:24.62s).
Third on the grid was Rashid Al Tayer and Giovanni Carpitella in Team Abu Dhabi (2m:26.23s), while fourth quickest were Abdullah Al Mehairbi and Talib Al Sayed in Skydive Dubai with a time of 2m:27.67s.
Unbeaten record
While Welmax had been consistently faster during testing, Bin Hendi remained quietly confident he and Al Zafeen can maintain their 100 per cent winning streak in the Class 1 World Powerboat Championship and make it five wins in a row in 2010.
The world champion throttleman also voiced his concern about the nature of the tight course.
"There is a sharp turn straight after the finish line when you are going flat out which make it very tricky," he added.
"You have to be very careful as the boat digs in when you try to turn right at high speed and we saw a few boats have trouble with that during testing. It is something we will all have to watch out for."
