Funeral of Christophe Hissette on Thursday

Dubai: The funeral for Christophe Hissette will take place at 3.30pm on Thursday (April 29) at the St. Francis Catholic Church in Jebel Ali.

Christophe’s father Jean-Louis Hissette told Gulf News that all paperwork had been completed by the authorities.

“This is a tough moment for us all,” Jean-Louis said.

Hissette died in an accident at the Dubai Autodrome last Friday when his car veered off on turn 16 and crashed into the side wall.

The car caught fire and marshals and rescue crew managed to extricate Hissette. He was air-lifted to Rashid Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.
