Sharjah: Infinity Data defeated Qazi XI to win the Sealine Sports FZE Floors & Decks T20 Cricket Ramadan Tournament at the Sharjah Hamriya ground.
A total of 32 teams participated in this tournament.
Qazi XI, playing in their third final here, began well before Shairaz Ahmed and Ashfaq Ahmad restricted the run flow. Qazi XI posted 194 in 20 overs with Ahmad Shabir top scoring with 57 runs.
Chasing the score, Infinity lost an early wicket in the first over. However the in-form Ashfaq, who had bagged two man of the tournaments awards during Ramadan tournaments, took charge and hit 97 runs to ensure an easy a victory for Infinity.
This was the first edition of Sealine and the event was sponsored by Floors & Decks and co-sponsored by Ajman Korea, Caprice Watches, Sharjah Cooperative society, JKA and Zic Motor Oil.
Infinity captain Syed Parveez Ahmad received the trophy and cash prize of Dh7,000 from Mohammad Hassan General Manager of Floors and Decks and M.S Khan CEO of Caprice Watches.
