Sad news: Dickinson senior passes on

Monica Dickinson, wife of the late Tony and mother of Michael, passed away earlier this week. She took over the training licence from Michael, who saddled the first five in the 1983 Cheltenham Gold Cup and saddled Badsworth Boy to win the Champion Chase in 1985 as well as many other big race winners. Michael has quit training and has designed Tapeta, the training surface used by Godolphin at Al Quoz.
