Dubai: It was another good day for Oasis Stables handler Musabah Al Muhairi who reeled off his third hat-trick of the season at Nad Al Sheba on Thursday.

Al Muhairi's treble catapulted him to the top of the trainer's championship, where he is joins Doug Watson with 13 winners.

Supplying Al Muhairi two of his wins was stable-jockey Wayne Smith, who has made a strong recovery after being sidelined with an injury for four weeks.

After Royston French kicked off the Oasis team's night when partnering Rise View to take the Al Nasr Leisureland Plate, Smith and Muhairi got down to business to claim the next two races on the card.

Earlier, the Emirati extended his impeccable record of winning all six maidens he has started a horse in at Nad Al Sheba, thanks to former Godolphin inmate Always Emirates' triumph under Smith in the Al Nasr Leisureland Stakes, while veteran Junction Line rolled back the years to land the Al Nasr Leisureland Challenge.

Al Muhairi has his horses in top condition and said he was not surprised to win three races.

"The team at home have done a great job during the summer to keep the horses healthy," he said. "We began some serious work with in August and that's what has made the difference.

"I was very confident tonight and I can say I expected to win at least three races, including the sprint with Junction Line, who has been working very well."

Smith echoed his trainer's sentiments and also paid tribute to the Oasis team.

"All the hard work they've done through the summer is really paying off. The horses are in fantastic condition," he said. "It's a pleasure to ride a horse that is willing to give 100 per cent."

Elsewhere on the card, South African trainer Mike de Kock made a winning seasonal debut when Ablaan won the maiden's race, while Watson cleaned up the last two races on the card with Hunter's Glen in a 2,000m handicap and Opportunity in a rated conditions event over a mile.

Earlier in the evening Erwan Charpy and Tadhg O'Shea continued their fine run of form, winning the opening Al Nasr Leisureland Cup for Purebred Arabians with Santhal.
