Dubai: Dubai World Cup favourites, the Art Sherman-trained California Chrome from the US and Frosted of Godolphin, drew stall numbers 11 and nine respectively in the Dubai World Cup post-position draw held at the Meydan on Wednesday.

The remaining 10 contenders for the world’s richest horse race have drawn the following gates: Mshawish (2); Hoppertunity(10); Mubtaahij(4); Special Fighter (5); KeenIce (1); Vadamos (7); Hokko Tarumae (8); Teletext (12); Gun Pit (3); Candy Boy (6). The Dubai World Cup will cap an evening of nine stellar races at the Meydan at 9pm on Saturday, March 26.
