The sixth edition of the JP McManus 36 hole two-day Pro-Am will be held at Adare Manor Golf Club, County Limerick, Ireland, Monday 4th – Tuesday 5th July, 2022.

The Charity Pro-Am first took place in 1990 at Limerick Golf Club, Ireland amongst some local Irish Pros.

After three editions at Limerick Golf Club, it moved to Adare Manor in 2005 and has grown into one of the must see and must play Pro-Ams in world golf, at the venue of The 2027 Ryder Cup, where it is being held this week.

Tiger Woods and so many of the top professional golfers in the world will participate.

In excess of €43.7m was raised for local Irish Charities at the last staging of the event in 2010.

Two-day event

It is an all-ticket two-day event with all 40,000 tickets sold out months in advance.

The format is one Professional and three Amateurs in a Shambles Team Format with one score to count, with ‘Par is your Friend.’

Dubai resident, Rafa Cabrera Bello is playing, as is the Dubai team of Abdullah Al Naboodah along with Mohammed Farouk and Sammy Eldin who are playing with Shane Lowry in round one and Rickie Fowler in round two.

The Team field is made up of celebrity amateurs as well as leading personalities in the business world who get together in the name of charity through the game of golf.

The second round takes place on Tuesday, 5th July.
