After two rounds of the 86th edition of The Masters at Augusta National, the original field of 91 players has been reduced to the Top 50 players and ties with two rounds to go, all trying to get their hands on the Green Jacket as well as a share of the $11,500,000 prize purse.

This sees 52 players in the field making the four over par cut mark.

The lowest cut ever in Masters history is 143 (one under par) in 2020 and the highest cut mark is 154 (10 over par) in 1982.

The average cut at The Masters is 148.43.

All eyes are still on Tiger Woods, as well as the runaway leader by an impressive five shots, World Number One Scottie Scheffler (US).

Tee times for the third round are in two-balls from 10.20 am – 2.50 pm (Local USA Eastern Time).

Thirteen players in the Top 50 in the OWGR will not be playing over the weekend (OWGR in brackets):

Xander Schauffele (10) USA.

Sam Burns (11) USA.

Louis Oosthuizen (14) RSA (retired).

Abraham Ancer (15) (Mex).

Brooks Koepka (17) USA.

Jordan Spieth (18) USA.

Bryson DeChambeau (19) USA.

Paul Casey (25) ENG. (retired).

Thomas Pieters (33) BEL.

Seamus Power (41) IRE.

Lucas Herbert (44) AUS.

Matthew Wolff (45) USA.

Cameron Young (46) USA.

Unlucky player of this week is, perhaps, England’s Richard Bland who currently sits at Number 48 in the OWGR, but the timing of the invite process did not work in Bland’s favour.
