Peter Baker is the 2023 Staysure PGA Seniors Championship winner by four-shots at Trump International Golf Links, Scotland.

Baker began his final round with a four-shot lead playing alongside 2005 US Open champion Michael Campbell & 2010 BMW PGA Championship winner Simon Khan. A level par front nine from Baker in testing conditions, would see him make the turn with a five-shot lead before a further back nine of level par to eventually win by six strokes.

“It’s very special to win an event like this, with all the names on this trophy it goes back a long way so to get my name on the trophy means a lot and I’m delighted.”

“I put myself in a great position after the first three days.” He said. “Today was really tough and the conditions were a lot harder, so it was a real battle for me to get it over the line but fortunately I have.”

Baker now sits at the top of the MCB Road to Mauritius standings after a record breaking week at the flagship event.

Jeev Milkha Singh, based out of Dubai, finished in a tie for 5th and sits in 9th spot on the Order of Merit.

The Legends Tour moves onto Golf Club de Saint-Cloud for the WCM Legends Open de France from 7th - 9th September 2023.
