Dubai: This week we will be following Aviv Ambassador and Dubai Golden Visa awardee Nicolas Colsaerts as he returns to tournament golf on the DP World Tour at the €1.75 million Cazoo Open presented by Gareth Bale to be held at The Celtic Manor Resort, Wales.

The 39-year-old Belgian boasts a strong CV including; three DP World Tour wins, a legendary Ryder Cup appearance in 2012, represented Belgium in the 2016 Olympics and three times in the World Cup of Golf and progressed through the Challenge Tour en route to the DP World Tour.

Nico is still the current champion of the French Open, which he won in 2019 and it has not been played in the last two seasons due to Covid.

He intends to defend his title and is entered to play in the €3 million Cazoo Open de France to be held at Le Golf National in Paris from September 2—25.

He has just completed a three-month medical treatment session at the Aviv Clinics Dubai to enhance his recovery from his kidney disease.

He last played competitive golf in his home tournament in Belgium as an Ambassador for the event, the Soudal Open in May on the DP World.

We will be following Nico’s journey this week with his scores; birdies, eagles and the rest, how he is feeling, behind the scenes stuff, weather reports, golf course feedback and how he is adjusting to life back on Tour.

It is an important week for Nico!
