A behind-the-scenes documentary series following two of Saudi Arabia’s fledgling golf stars is to be broadcast online from Monday, aiming to bring the Kingdom’s growing number of golf fans closer to two of the shining lights of Saudi golf.

The Golf Saudi-backed ‘See It All’ series will chart the journeys of amateur golfers Faisal Salhab and Saud Al Sharif in the build-up to them going head-to-head with the global stars of golf at next month’s Saudi International.

Shot over five episodes, the documentary will follow the two talents as they practise with their coaches, spend time on and off the golf course together and with their families, and put in all the physical and mental training needed to ensure they go into February’s $5 million tournament ready to compete at golf’s highest level.

It will also feature special ‘inside the ropes’, self-shot footage from the pair captured over the weekend of February 3-6 as they compete in the Saudi International, taking place at Royal Greens Golf & Country Club, King Abdullah Economic City.

Majed Al Sorour, CEO and Deputy Chairman of Golf Saudi, said: “Both Saud and Faisal are incredible talents who we are so proud to see performing at a truly elite level internationally, and here within the Kingdom, as representatives of Golf Saudi.

“We have watched them develop at an impressive rate over the last five years through our Elite Coaching Academy, work that has paid off with both men claiming fantastic recent wins, with Saud’s victory in last year’s Jordan Open and Faisal’s recent triumphs in both the Saudi Open and Pan Arab Championship in Egypt.

“These successes are testament to the hard-work, talent and dedication of the pair, plus their strength of character. Their achievements are truly inspiring — something we want to bring to as many young Saudis as possible, as golf — and sport — continues to grow exponentially in the Kingdom.

“With the ‘See It All’ Series, we hope to inspire more Saudis to embrace and follow Faisal and Saud’s journey with golf, one that will take its biggest step yet with the pair’s involvement in next month’s Saudi International.

“There, they will test their talents against the very best in the world — the likes of Major-winners Dustin Johnson, Phil Mickelson, Sergio Garcia, Shane Lowry and dozens more incredible, superstar players. That, to us, acts as a means of tremendous personal motivation, and we hope by showing how committed Saud and Faisal are to the game of golf, it will act to inspire Saudis of all ages.”
