ENBD RACE TO MALAYSIA

Dubai: The last weekend saw the 13th Qualifying Round of the 2022 Emirates NBD Race to Malaysia held over the Faldo Course at Emirates Golf Club involving over 60 members.

The season-long tournament is sanctioned by the Emirates Golf Federation and is open to all golfers holding an EGF Handicap.

Wesley Burke (11) shot one of the rounds of the day with a gross 77, net 66 with nines of 40 and 37.

Five divisional winners from this EGC Qualifier progress to the National Final of the Emirates NBD Race to Malaysia to be held on Saturday, October 1 at Al Hamra Golf Club, Ras Al Khaimah.

The next qualifier, this time, an Inter-Society event, is at Arabian Ranches Golf Club on Saturday, June 25 with a 2pm shotgun start.

The remaining qualifying rounds are as below:

September 18: Al Zorah Golf Club, Ajman, UAE.

September 24: Al Hamra Golf Club, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.

The five divisional winners of the National Final will represent the UAE in the World Final in Malaysia in November, alongside 47 other countries.

Dhruv Verma, CEO Thriwe, Faisal Saeed, Business Head Emirates NBD, and Campbell Steadman, Captain of Emirates Golf Club, were present to award the five qualifying Divisional winners their prizes, plus there were 12 on-course prizes contributed by the tournament sponsors, Accuracy, AGMC, Athletic Drive, AARO, eGolfmegastore, Suited & Booted, Brightfox, Papa John’s, Landhouse Properties, Msangai Adventures and Lexzander. The tournament is supported by Dubai Sports Council.
