Dubai-based Scot Alison Muirhead shot a final-round two-over par 74 for a 54-hole total of 224, eight-over par and tied 55th in the $1 million Aramco Team Series — New York on Saturday, played at the 6,506 yards Par 72, Glen Oaks Club, New York.

The individual event winner was England’s Charley Hull, securing her third Ladies European Tour title, her first since 2019 in the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Open, Abu Dhabi, with a final round of 65 to pip second-round leader Nelly Korda by one shot with a three-round total of 12-under.

In the four-player team event, Team Jessica Korda won after tying after 54 holes with Team Popov on 41-under par in this best two from four scores on each hole, and Korda won at the second play-off hole under lights on the par 3 17th.

Muirhead played in Nelly Korda’s Team, the world No. 1 and Tokyo 2020 Olympic champion, along with Ursula Wikstrom of Finland and amateur Jeffrey Capazzi, and finished tied 13th on 31-under.

Muirhead’s final round 74 included one birdie and one eagle on the Par 5, 13th hole.

The 54-hole tournament has a prize fund of $800,000 for the team event and $200,000 for the Individual event. The Individual event was a qualifier for both the 2021 Race to Costa del Sol and the Solheim Cup.

The next event on the Ladies European Tour is in Dubai to be held October 27-29 at Emirates Golf Club, Faldo Course in the 260,000 euro Dubai Moonlight Classic Presented by EGA.
