Dubai-based runaway leader of the 2022 Ladies European Tour Access Series Order of Merit, Chiara Noja (Ger) returns to tournament golf on the LETAS after a week’s break in the Tour, in the €40,000 Vasteras Open Presented by PadelPitch from tomorrow (Wednesday) 3rd August – Friday 5th August.

The 16 year-old travelled to this week’s tournament located, within one hour of Stockholm with her father / caddie Tom, via a 1,400 kilometer drive after a week’s holiday away from golf.

Chiara told Gulf News, “I still feel a little tired from all this travel. I hit zero golf balls last week, so I am feeling reasonably energised to come back to playing the game. I have not seen the golf course yet and am playing just one practice round today with the tournament starting tomorrow.”

120 players

The tournament is being played over the Orresta Golf & Konferens Club, which will be playing at 5,605 yards and a par 72.

The golf course is described as having a hilly, park and forest setting. It has been ranked Number 2 golf course in Vastmanland, in both 2014 and 2015 by Golf Digest.

120 players are in the field in week 12 of the season with just seven tournaments remaining in the 2022 LETAS calendar after this week.

Chiara tees off tomorrow (Wednesday) in her first round at 8.55 am from tee 10 alongside Josefine Nyqvist (Swe) and Sofie Bringner (Swe).
