A strong field, consisting both of international and regional players has been assembled for the $1.5 million International Series – Egypt to take place this week at Madinaty Golf Club, New Cairo on the Asian Tour, Thursday 10th – Sunday 13th November.

Marquee players in the 120 man field include Bernd Wiesberger (Aut), Sihwan Kim (US), Scott Vincent (Zim), who all ply their trade on the LIV Golf Tour, along with some of the finest on both the Asian Tour Order of Merit and the International Series Order of Merit.

Vincent is the current leader of the Asian Tour’s International Series Order of Merit. Whilst Kim, Nitithong (Thai), again Vincent and Kaewkanjana (Thai) are second, third, fourth and fifth respectively on the Asian Tour Order of Merit.

Of the 24 invites to the tournament there is a strong representation from Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Qatar, Oman and Lebanon.

Tee times start at 6.30 am tomorrow (Thursday) until 12.25 pm in a two-tee start format.

The tournament is being hosted over the 6,936 yards, par 70 course at Madinaty Golf Club, designed by Robert Jones Jnr and managed by Troon Golf.

Teeing off at 7.40 am in Match 8 tomorrow (Thursday) is Dubai based MG Keyser (RSA) who represents Jumeirah Golf Estates.

Leading regional players in the field include: Shergo Al Kurdi (Pro, Jordan), Othman Almulla (Pro, KSA), Rachid Akl (Lebanon), Faisal Salhab (Am, KSA), Saud Al Sharif (Am, KSA), Dean Naime (Am, Egypt), Issa Abou El Ela (Am, Egypt), Azzan Al Rumhy (Am, Oman), El Mehdi Fakori (Am, Mor), Mohammed Nizar Bourehim (Am, Mor) and Saleh Ali Al Kaabi (Am, Qatar).
