Dubai: Dubai-based Chiara Noja shot a second round one under par 72 to be on par after 36 holes in the €40,000 Hauts de France-Pas de Calais Golf Open at the Saint-Omer Golf Club, in the north of France, on the Ladies European Tour Access Series (LETAS).

The 16-year-old German, had two nines of 36, but that does not reveal a round that contained six birdies and five bogeys. Chiara lies in tied fourth place with a few players still on the golf course completing their rounds, with only three players completing their 36 holes under par.

Kobori in lead

The leader is New Zealander Momoka Kobori on five under par with rounds of 69 and 72.

The 23-year-old Kobori is currently in second place in both the LETAS Order of Merit and the LETAS Rookie of the Year Rankings, with Chiara the leader of both lists, and has finished first, tied seventh and tied second in her three LETAS tournaments to date this season.

The cut for the final round will see the leading 35 ladies and 35 men from the Alps Tour in this co-sanctioned tournament, qualifying for Saturday’s final round.
