Ancer seals wire-to-wire victory in Saudi International on the Asian Tour

Abraham Ancer (Mex) shot a final round two-under par 68 for a wire-to-wire victory in the PIF Saudi International powered by Softbank Investment Advisers at Royal Greens Golf & Country Club on the Asian Tour.

Ancer leading by two overnight, shot nines of 33 and 35 to win by two shots from Cameron Young (US), Ancer finishing on 19 under with Young on 17 under.

Strong birdie

Young threatened with a 32 front nine but went bogey – par - double from the 13th tee, to fall back before a strong birdie – par - birdie final three holes to fall short.

Lucas Herbert (Aus) shot a final round 65, but the winner was always going to come from either Ancer or Young.

Dubai-based Anirban Lahiri (Ind) shot a final round 66 to finish in tied 12th.
