Watch dad pull out son's tooth by hitting golf ball attached to piece of string

Phil Smith's 7-year-old Noah was scared of his wobbly tooth hurting, so he solved the problem

Dad Phil Smith came up with a novel way of combining his love for golf with being a parent – by pulling his child’s tooth out with a swing of a club.

Noah, 7, was apparently worried about the pain of letting his tooth fall out over time, so he allowed his dad to tie string around it, attached that string to a golf ball, then hit that ball off a tee with an iron.

The video, uploaded to YouTube, appears to show the plan working perfectly, with no tears from Noah, and a clean removal of the offending molar.

The caption of the video reads: “My 7 year old wanted to pull his tooth but was concerned it would be to painful to pull SLOWLY.

“So we did it QUICKLY and in his words with no pain, just a little fear.”
