Dubai: The Finals of the 2021–2022 Ladies’ InterClub Challenge supported and sanctioned by the Emirates Golf Federation, has been awarded to Abu Dhabi Golf Club and will be held on Wednesday 23rd March, 2022.
The Finals venue was tendered out to all participating golf clubs in the ICC League. After all bids were received by the organisers, it was awarded to Abu Dhabi Golf Club.
Eleven Golf Clubs are participating in this year’s ICC in four leagues, each comprising of three teams and one league of two teams.
The four winners of each league go through to the Finals. The other seven teams play on the same day, for the Day Cup.
Shotgun start
The ICC Finals Day will have a 1 pm shotgun start and will be played over the National Course.
The defending champions are Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club who won last year’s ICC Finals Day, held at The Els Club, Dubai.
So far this 2021-2022 season the Montgomerie Golf Club, Dubai and Emirates Golf Club, Dubai have already qualified for the Finals.
League One is still to be decided; between Jumeirah Golf Estates and the EGF with both teams level, and League Two is between Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club and The Els Club, with Dubai Creek having a two point advantage, with the three final fixtures in Leagues One, Two and Three all taking place on Wednesday March 9th.
