UAE team leave for training in Turkey
Olympic dream continues for the Group B leaders
Abu Dhabi: The UAE Olympic football team left yesterday for Turkey for training. They face Uzbekistan in the last decisive Olympic qualifier on March 14.
The UAE leads Group B with 11 points followed by the Uzbeks, with eight points.
Players at the camp: Abdul Aziz Haikal, Sa'ad Sorrour and Ahmad Khalil (all of Al Ahli); Mohammad Jaber, Amer Abdul Rahman, Habboush Saleh, Ahmad Ali and Mohammad Fawzi (Bani Yas); Khalid Eisa, Khamis Esmail, Waleed Abdullah and Ali Mabkhout (Al Jazira); Abdul Aziz Sangour (Sharjah); Mohammad Abdul Rahman and Omar Abdul Rahman (Al Ain); Ali Salem Al Ameri and Habib Fardan (Al Nasr); Adil Al Hosani, Salem Saleh and Amer Omar (Al Wahda); Ahmad Mahmoud and Rashid Eisa (Al Wasl); Mohammad Ahmad (Al Shabab) and Hamdan Al Kamali (Olympique Lyonnais).
