Lisbon: Portugal coach Fernando Santos on Monday warned of the threat posed by Sweden ahead of Tuesday’s friendly, despite the absence of star player Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who retired from international duty at the end of Euro 2016.

During a press conference held before travelling to the Portuguese city of Madeira where the friendly match will be held, Santos said that teams do not depend on a particular player but collective play, reports Efe.

He also noted that the Swedes are well organised and have excellent tactical capabilities.

Cristiano Ronaldo will represent Portugal for the first time in his hometown of Madeira.
