Mendes delighted with team

Dubai: The UAE coach, Marcelo Mendes, was delighted with his team clinching the Asian title and making it to the World Cup finals.

"Japan were a tough team, but we beat them with the help of talented players like Bakhit and Rami. The team were excellent and our goalkeeper was in fine form due to hard training," said Mendes. He said he would discuss the team's preparations with the FA. "We will have a training camp in June-July in Spain and play several warm-up games before leaving for France on July 17," he said.
