England and Algeria laboured to a goalless draw at the World Cup in a Group C match
Cape Town: England and Algeria laboured to a goalless draw at the World Cup on Friday in a Group C match which produced few chances for either team.
Both teams replaced their goalkeepers from the first match after the incumbents were blamed for blunders.
David James came in for Robert Green for England and Rais Ouheb Mbouli supplanted Faouzi Chaouchi for Algeria.
Though the two new keepers both kept clean sheets, neither was ever seriously tested in one of the dullest games of the finals so far.
Slovenia lead Group C on four points with the United States and England on two and Algeria on one.
