Glasgow: Dundee United were relegated from the Scottish Premiership on Monday in the worst possible way after a last-gasp 2-1 defeat at local rivals Dundee.
Craig Wighton fired Dundee’s winner deep into stoppage-time after Kosta Gadzhalov had cancelled out Edward Ofere’s opener for the visitors to bring an end to United’s 20-year run in the top-flight.
Thirty-three years on from seeing United lift their only league crown at their Dens Park stadium, the Dundee fans lapped it up as their team sent the Terrors into the Scottish second tier.
