Dubai: Football legend Diego Maradona is likely to visit Dubai some time this week. Al Wasl Club have invited the Argentine to witness some of their newly added infrastructure such as the medical centre, though sources in the club refused to put a date to it.
"The details of the visit are still at a fluid stage as there is a possibility that Maradona may visit a number of places," sources said.
Maradona is expected to arrive before his visit to the Chechen Republic for the official inauguration of Grozny Stadium. Al Wasl Club, located at Zabeel, want him to see their newly opened medical centre and the recently implemented youth coaching programmes at Al Wasl Football Academy.
