Consaulim win all-Goan cup

Dubai: Consaulim beat St Rita’s Maina 3-0 thanks to a hat-trick from Neves Noronha in the final of the seven-a-side football St Rita’s Cup at the Dulsco Ground last week.

Twelve teams took part in the all-Goan one-day tournament in memory of Dominic Dias, with the top two in each group progressing to the last eight.

Joe Colalo won player of the tournament, Cedric Godinho won best defender and Tarence Lobo was best newcomer, while the best goalkeeper award went to Macklas Moraes.
