London; Arsenal are considering a January loan swoop for Juventus forward Fernando Llorente.

The Spaniard moved to Italy from Athletic Bilbao in the summer but has struggled to get into the Juve team ahead of Carlos Tevez.

Arsenal are keen to take advantage by striking a temporary deal for the 28-year-old, who has lost his place in the Spain squad.

Llorente knows he must play regularly to be restored to coach Vicente del Bosque’s World Cup plans and Premier League football at table-topping Arsenal is likely to appeal.
