Dubai: Al Shabab will be hoping to continue with their winning form as they take on Ittihad Kalba in their second match in Group B of the etisalat Pro Cup at home today.

With one round of matches held during the previous international break last month, Al Shabab are at the top with three points following their solitary goal win against Al Jazira. Ittihad Kalba and Al Ahli drew 1-1 to split points while Sharjah was held at home by Al Wasl to occupy the last two positions in the group.

Jolted by the result, Al Jazira will be looking forward to an away win against Al Wasl, while Al Ahli will be hosting Sharjah for the second time in as many weeks with an eye on full points tomorrow.

Top of standings

In Group A, Al Ain and Bani Yas are at the top of the six-team standings with three points each, thanks to their 2-0 and 2-1 wins against Al Wahda and Al Nasr respectively.

Al Dhafrah will host a fast-improving Al Nasr, while Al Wahda will travel to neighbouring Bani Yas for the late-night engagement.
