Dubai : Hosts New Indian Model School (NIMS), Sharjah played a robust game to pip a resurgent Our Own, Al Warqa in the finals of 12th NIMS Mini Basketball Tournament for under-13 boys at the NIMS Sharjah basketball arena.
NIMS led the first quarter with a five-point margin (8-3) but the lead shrank after Our Own scored 11 points against eight in the second quarter.
Our Own fought to level the score early in the third quarter and then pushed further to take a two-point lead.
NIMS recovered from the two-point deficit to record a thrilling finish, the final score being 26-22.
