Easy win for Danica and Noureen in the India Club UAE Open Badminton Tournament

Dubai: Easy wins for Danica, Noureen helps them to move ahead in Girls Under-18 singles while Rajat Ajayakumar cruised into semi-finals of boys under-14 singles in the India Club UAE Open Badminton Tournament.

In the girls under-8 singles category, Danica Ferrao and Noureen Aneeze beat their opponents Neetha Mariam Abraham and Venkata Sai Chaitra V. in two straight sets 21-17, 21-7 and 21-7, 21-13. In the boys under-14 singles, Rajat Ajayakumar entered the semi-finals beating Atul Krishna Rasi 21-15, 21-17.

As a part of India Club’s CSR Activity, which is extended to the UAE Open Badminton Tournament as well, eight students from the Special Needs Future (SNF) Development Centre, Dubai took part in exhibition matches specially organised for them in the morning.

The following students from SNF Development took part in the exhibition matches played at India Club on Saturday morning: Abdullah, Aman Kumar, Muneeb Ali, Priyanshu Rastogi, Taha Farhat, Vijeyta Kumar, Abdul Rahman and Michelle Wilson.
