Dubai: The inaugural Dubai Stars International Body Building and Powerlifting Championship will be held from May 16-17.
Organised by Big & Fit Sports Nutrition, the event carries a total prize money of Dh135,000 and will be conducted under the supervision of the General Authority of Youth and Sports Welfare (GAYSW), Dubai Sports Council, Emirates Bodybuilding Federation (EBBF) and Emirates Powerlifting Committee.
The competition will be conducted in three categories: Formal Body building, Classic Body Building, and Bench Press. It will be open to all nationals except for IFBB athletes who have an international professional validated card.
The registration and weigh-in will take place on May 16 at Copthorne Hotel, Deira, while the competition will take place the following day at the Shaikh Rashid Auditorium of Indian High School.
