8.44pm K.R. Nayar: "Wicket! Darren Sammy followed Russell, hitting Willey into the hands of Hales at deep cover for 2."

8.40pm K.R. Nayar: "Wicket! Willey dismissed Andre Russell for one caught by Stokes at the deep mid-wicket boundary."

8.33pm K.R. Nayar: "Wicket! Bravo celebrated his luck hitting Adil Rashid for a six over mid-wicket. In the same over Rashid picked the wicket of Bravo for 25 miscuing a shot to Root at backward point. Bravo and Samuels had put 75 runs in 11.3 overs for the fourth wicket."

8.25pm K.R. Nayar: "As over mounted the need to force the pace mounted. At the score on 73 for 3, Bravo on 12, pulled Stokes to backward square leg and Billings dropped the chance."

8.17pm K.R. Nayar: "At the halfway mark, the West Indies are 54 for 3 needing another 102 from the next 60 balls. The asking rate has shot up to over 10."

8.09pm K.R. Nayar"West Indies hit the 50 after nine overs. Bravo and Samuels are working well together, having notched up 42 runs."

7.58pm K.R. Nayar: "Samuels and Bravo put on 26 runs in 3.4 overs when Samuels on 27 edged Plunkett to wicketkeeper Jos Buttler. The umpire declared him out but television replays showed Buttler had completed the catch after the ball touched the turf and was recalled."

7.50pm K.R. Nayar: "West Indies got off to a very poor start losing three wickets for 11 runs in 2.3 overs. The first to go was Johnson Charles. He skied Joe Root to mid-on for Ben Stokes to take an easy catch. The second wicket was that of Chris Gayle who tried to clear long on for a six off Root but Stokes took the catch. The third was that of West Indies semi-final hero Lendl Simmons. He got trapped leg before for David Willey for a duck."

7.41pm K.R. Nayar: "Wicket! Lendl Simmons goes for a golden duck. A classic left-armers seamless dismissal."

7.33pm K.R. Nayar: "Wicket! Chris Gayle soon follows as Joe Root shines again. West Indies are 5/2 after 1.3 overs."

Ben Stokes lasted only eight balls to score 13 runs before Bravo deceived him with a slower delivery for Lendl Simmons to take an easy catch. Moeen Ali lasted even less time, getting out in two balls for duck gloving the delivery from Bravo to wicketkeeper Ramadin."

6.22pm K.R. Nayar: "Wicket! England lost their fourth wicket at the score on 84 when Buttler pulled Carlos Brathwaite straight to Dwayne Bravo at mid-wicket for 36. Buttler and Root had put on 61 runs in 6.4 overs for the fourth wicket."

6.18pm K.R. Nayar: "The 11th over from Benn was a very useful one for the England team. Buttler hit him for two sixes. Sixteen runs came off that over."

6.15pm K.R. Nayar: "Despite the disastrous start Joe Root played confidently. Jos Buttler hit left-arm spinner Sulieman Benn for a six over extra cover. At the half way mark, England are 67 for the 3 with Butler and Root putting on a plus-fifty runs partnership."
