Port of Spain: The West Indies won the toss and elected to field against India in their second One-Day International (ODI) cricket match here on Sunday. The match has been reduced to 43 overs a side after steady morning rain delayed the start.

Both teams remained unchanged from the last match, which was abandoned due to rain. Inclement weather had also hampered the opening match two days earlier at the same venue with a no result declared after India reached 199 for three off 39.2 overs batting first.

Torrential afternoon showers and a saturated outfield frustrated efforts to have the West Indies reply in a minimum of 20 overs necessitated to constitute a match.
