Sharjah's Desert Cubs prepare for Oman tour

Dubai:  The Desert Cubs Cricket Academy (DCCA) based in Sharjah will be playing against the Sri Lankan School Oman team and Oman Cricket Academy in Under-17 and Under-14 categories.

This academy team had returned from their successful tour of the United Kingdom and Sri Lanka recently and are all set to face the Oman U-16 Twenty20 champion team in their Saturday match. The Cubs teams are being captained by Ivan Vanderpoortan (U-17) and by Renaldi Dias (U-14).

The tour is accompanied by Presley Polonnowita, the Head Coach of DCCA, Malindha Perera, assistant coach and managed by Ajantha Premarathna. The DCCA operates under the Sharjah Cricket Council.
