The team

The Mumbai Indians is one of the most successful teams in the IPL. The team is currently captained by Rohit Sharma, and coached by Ricky Ponting. The team won its first IPL title in 2013 after defeating the Chennai Super Kings by 23 runs in the final. They went onto win their second IPL title in 2015 by again defeating the Chennai Super Kings, this time by 41 runs. They are searching for their third IPL title in 2016.
