BCCI releases revised schedule as RCB take on KKR in Bengaluru on May 17
Dubai: The Indian Premier League will restart from May 17 after a brief interruption, according to the Board of Control for Cricket in India.

The first match will be between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Kolkata Knight Riders on May 17 while the final will be held on June 3. The venues for the play-offs is yet to be confirmed.
The cash-rich league was briefly abandoned due to the air raids after rising tensions between India and Pakistan following the Pahalgam attack.
Gujarat Titans currently top the table with 16 points closely followed by Royal Challengers Bengaluru, who also have 16 points. Punjab Kings are behind with 15 points, while Mumbai Indians (14), Delhi Capitals (13), Kolkata Knight Riders (11), and Lucknow Super Giants (10) are all still in the mix.
Meanwhile, three teams - Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals are already out of the contention for the playoffs race.
