Yuzvendra Chahal put on a show for Punjab Kings in stunning fashion during the Indian Premier League, grabbing a hat-trick against Chennai Super Kings as they wrapped up for 190 in 19.2 overs. The leg-spinner struck in the 19th over, taking the wickets of MS Dhoni, Deepak Hooda, and Anshul Kamboj in three successive deliveries — sending shockwaves through Chepauk.

Yuzvendra Chahal during the break said, "It felt good. It was the 19th over and Mahi bhai so it could have gone either way but I was thinking about taking wickets. There were five fielders inside so I was just ensuring the batters don't get settled. Wanted to play with the batters' minds. [On his celebration] That came from a meme so I thought that any time I get a five-wicket haul or a hat-trick I will celebrate with that.
