Dubai: When we talk about richest Indian cricketers, names like super stars like Sachin Tendulkar, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Virat Kohli is sure to pop up.

But surprisingly it's none of these names that top the list and its former Indian all-rounder Ajay Jadeja who holds the top spot.

The 54-year-old played for India in the 1990s and has been part of some memorable Indian victories. But he was later banned for match fixing which was later overturned in 2003 by the Delhi High Court.

Last year, Jadeja was announced as the heir to the Jamnagar royal family in Gujarat by the current Maharaja of Nawanagar Jamsaheb Shatrusalyasinhji Jadeja named Ajay.

That royal legacy comes with a whopping inheritance of over Rs14.5 billion ($174.70 million).

Virat Kohli, who retired from the Test team has a net worth of Rs10 billion while Sachin Tendulkar is worth over Rs12 billion.
