Dubai: Cricket fans in England who missed seeing Indian stars Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in action will have another opportunity in 2026. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has confirmed a new limited-overs tour of England, set to take place that summer.

India will play a total of eight white-ball matches during the tour—five T20 Internationals and three One Day Internationals (ODIs). The series will begin with the T20Is on July 1 and conclude with the final ODI on July 19.

Both Kohli and Rohit have retired from Test and T20 cricket but are still available for the ODIs.

Meanwhile, India’s men’s team, currently captained by Shubman Gill, is already in England for a five-match Test series as part of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy. However, the visitors are trailing the series, having lost two of the first three Tests, with their only win coming in Birmingham.

The Indian women’s team will also visit the UK in 2026, either side of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup. Under the leadership of Harmanpreet Kaur, they are scheduled to play three T20Is and a one-off Test during their tour in May and June.

India men's tour of England 2026 full schedule:

July 1: 1st T20I, Banks Homes Riverside, Durham

July 4: 2nd T20I, Old Trafford, Manchester

July 7: 3rd T20I, Trent Bridge, Nottingham

July 9: 4th T20I, Seat Unique Stadium, Bristol
