Dubai: A No 10 batter dropped his mobile phone while taking a run during a recent County Championship match between Lancashire and Gloucestershire.

Tom Bailey, who came into bat at No 10, looks like he forgot to drop his phone back at the dressing table.

In an attempt to take a run off Gloucestershire bowler Josh Shaw in the 114th over, Bailey dropped the phone at the non-striker's end.

“Something has dropped out of his pocket. I think it’s his mobile phone!” observed one of the commentators. “No way!” said the other.

“As much as it is hilarious and we are laughing about it, I almost wonder if that’s going to have to be reported. The fact that he was out in the middle .. (chuckles) with a mobile phone in his pocket (more laughs),” wondered the commentator.
