Savithri biopic ‘Nadigar Thilagam’ to release

Telugu director Nag Ashwin’s bilingual — a biopic on Savithri, one of the finest actresses of yesteryears — is eagerly awaited.

While Malayalam actress Keerthi Suresh plays the veteran actress, Dulquer Salmaan is paired opposite her. The ensemble star cast includes Samantha Akkineni, Vijay Devarakonda, Prakash Raj, Mohan Babu, Naga Chaitanya and Bhanupriya.

Titled Mahanati (Telugu) and Nadigar Thilakam (Tamil), the film is produced by Vyjayanthi Movies.

Cinematography is by Dani Sa Lo. Mickey J Mayer has composed music.
