Israel and Iran exchanged heavy bombardments for a third consecutive day, significantly escalating fears of a wider regional conflict. Early on Sunday, air raid sirens and booms rattled Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, marking another round of intense exchanges.

Israel's military confirmed it targeted Iran's Defence Ministry headquarters in Tehran, along with sites allegedly linked to Iran’s nuclear program around the capital. Both Iranians and Israelis woke to scenes of smoke and rubble as the arch-rivals intensified their overnight attacks. Israel conducted strikes on Tehran's defense ministry, while Iran launched a deadly barrage of missiles.
