Hyderabad: A Class IX student hanged herself in Malkajgiri area of Hyderabad after her school refused permission to her to appear in examinations as she had defaulted on the payment of tuition fee.
According to the police K. Sai Deepti hanged herself in her room when her mother was busy in household work in another room and her father and elder sister had gone out.
"She came back from school at 330 pm and left a suicide note behind before hanging herself", police said.
Deepti, in her suicide note said that she was taking extreme step due to humiliation in school. "Sorry mom", she wrote.
Deepti was a student of Jyothi High School, a private institution.
Her body was shifted to Gandhi Hospital mortuary and it was handed over to the family after autopsy. Malkajgiri police have registered a case against the school management.
