Vehicle test services
It includes the Renewal Test that certifies vehicles for registration renewal, the Export Test that certifies vehicles prior to exporting out of the UAE and the Import Test that passes vehicles imported into Dubai or Sharjah, before being certified as eligible for registration.
Comprehensive test
Whether you're looking to buy a used car or sell your current car, the Comprehensive Test certificate is a reliable tool to gauge the current condition of a vehicle before making a decision to purchase it from a secondary market.
Chassis checking tests
The Chassis Checking Machine measures the condition of a vehicle in no time. Whether you are buying or selling, insist on an official Chassis Check from Tasjeel to clear your doubts and get 100 per cent quality assurance on the vehicle.
VIP service
A service designed for those who never have a moment to spare. With state-of-the-art offerings such as VIP Services, Quicker Test Results and Transfers, the vehicle will be tested in no time. This service is available at Tasjeel centres in Sharjah, Al Qusais, Al Warsan, JAFZA, and Al Barsha.
Dubai municipality test
Tasjeel provides a vehicle test for food transport vehicles according to the health specifications and conditions set by Dubai Municipality. The Food Transportation Vehicle Test applies to all vehicles handling food stuff (chiller, freezer and dry food). This service is available at the Tasjeel centres in Al Warsan and JAFZA.
Civil defence test
Tasjeel provides a Vehicle Test for vehicles transporting dangerous goods according to Civil Defence procedures. This test is available at the Tasjeel centres in Al Warsan and JAFZA.
Number plate service
Tasjeel provides all kinds of vehicle number plates. They emboss number plates, according to customer requirements. They also provide a number plate fixing service at their major centres.
Gulf specification test
Tasjeel provides Gulf specifications test to vehicles imported to the country at all sites.
Mobile vehicle inspection service
A first of its kind in the UAE, The Mobile Vehicle Inspection System enables customers to book appointments for vehicle inspection at a location convenient for them.
Car valuation certificate
Tasjeel’s Car Valuation Certificate provides customers the actual market value of a used vehicle for customers. It is based on a combination of technical testing results with vehicle valuation generated by feedback from Autodata ME CVC system, the outcome of which would be a valuation recording about 100 per cent accuracy on the estimate value of vehicle. This service is available at Tasjeel centres in Al Twar, Al Barsha and Al Aweer.
International driving licence
Tasjeel helps customers in completing the necessary International Driving License processes for residents of the UAE travelling anywhere across the globe.

What is Shamil?
It is again a hassle-free vehicle testing and registration option from Emarat that was stablished in 1981 by the UAE government to market and distribute petroleum. Shamil outlets are located at seven locations across Dubai, Ajman and the Northern Emirates.
In conjunction with Ministry of Interior (MoI) and Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), Shamil offers a variety of services such as Vehicle Testing, Registration & Renewal, Fine Payments, Insurance, International Driving Licences and more.
Required documents before registering any vehicle at Shamil:
In order to complete your vehicle testing and registration formalities, please ensure you carry these documents:
- Your old Mulkiya/registration card.
- The insurance certificate for renewal. Insurance companies are available at Shamil Vehicle Testing Centres.
- Copy of the company licence if the car is to be renewed/registered under a company’s name.

Test and register your vehicle in 3 simple steps
- Drive your car into a Shamil Vehicle Testing bay and collect your token.
- Take a seat in the waiting area. Once your number is called, collect the passing certificate and complete the registration process.
- Collect your registration card and drive out a happy customer!
Service costs
- Dubai: First test AED 170 and retest AED 50
- Northern Emirates: First test AED 150, Free retest within 15 days and thereafter AED 50
- AED 330 for imported used vehicles (GCC Standards).
Al Mumayaz Vehicle Testing
Al Mumayaz Testing services include Vehicle Testing, Registration of the Vehicle, Providing number plates, Vehicle Insurance with reputable insurance companies and other relevant activates relating to Vehicle registration and Driving Licence. Al Mumayaz is also affiliated to Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority .
