What is the cost of a DPI test?

The DPI test costs Dh50

How long does it take to get the results?

Whether you are at a drive-through centre, or a regular screening centre, you would need to present your Emirates ID and provide your mobile number.

The medical representative will then take a small sample of your blood through a prick test, similar to a blood sugar test. Once the prick test is done the result will be sent via SMS to your registered mobile phone number, and normally comes within seconds.

What is the process?

If you have taken a DPI test, the validity of the test is 24 hours, within which you would be required to enter the emirate. You can also not use a DPI test to enter Abu Dhabi two consecutive times.

Those staying for a long period within the emirate would need to take a PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) test on Day 3 of entry and another PCR test on Day 7, in case they are staying for seven or more days.
